Yvonne has always had a fascination with bright colors and bold shapes and enjoys combining them on her canvases to create abstract artwork that elicits a sense of joy!
Her passion for art was sparked while studying fashion design at Marangoni Instituto in Milan. Since then, her creative journey has taken many forms, from running her own interior design firm to working as the head stylist for AtHome Magazine.
She began painting later in life, taking art courses at the Silvermine Art Guild. The primarily self taught artist experiments with different mediums including acrylic, graphite, gesso and watercolors, finding joy in using them all in her mixed media paintings.
She derives inspiration for her work from her travels, Cuban roots, and colorful winters in Miami. Yvonne is often told that her artwork is a reflection of her personality...bright, bold, honest and with a lot of soul.
Claveloux works from her home studios in Connecticut and Miami and exhibits her works in galleries and stores in New York, Rhode Island, Connecticut, Massachusetts, and New Jersey.

I embrace the beauty in the drips, smudges, and scribbles that dictate the personality and direction of each and every canvas.
